Consuming Goodness: YOUR MOUTH

Consuming Goodness: YOUR MOUTH

Live an ANTI-AGING lifestyle & restore your youth. Outward appearances are transformed with consuming goodness.

What's in my MOUTH?

What goes in and comes out of your mouth affects your body, mind, and SPIRIT. Adopt daily habits that enhance and rejuvenate your youthful appearance. Opting for nutritious consumption and positive speech, while avoiding negativity, manifests visible results. Your reflection mirrors your lifestyle, leading to self-appreciation and self-love.

What Are You Eating?

food

Savor organic, non-GMO foods in smaller portions. Processed, fried or sugar foods damage collagen, decrease skin's elasticity, and increase inflammation & wrinkles 1 Cor. 10:31.

Food is the foundation of our lives, and diet is the main way for the body to get its substances required for growth and happiness. Modern science has proven that an imbalance in nutrition and poor eating habits are causes of skin aging. Nutrition is closely associated with skin health and is required for all biological processes of skin from youth to aging or disease. A high-fat diet is closely related to both disease and skin aging. High-fat diets delay skin healing with skin oxidative stress and inflammatory responses, reducing protein synthesis, and causes morphological changes in skin leading to damage. A high-sugar diet leads to the accumulation of AGE's and acceleration of skin aging NIH.

Organic & Non-GMO

Organic foods are automatically GMO-free, but non-GMO foods are not necessarily organic.

Organic food is grown and processed using sustainable agricultural practices that avoid synthetic chemicals and genetically modified components. Produce is organic if it’s certified to have grown on soil that had no synthetic fertilizers and pesticides for three years prior to harvest. Organic meat requires that animals are raised in living conditions accommodating their natural behaviors (like pasture grazing), fed 100% organic feed and forage, and not administered antibiotics or hormones. Organic multi-ingredient processed foods have no artificial preservatives, colors, or flavors and require organic ingredients USDA.

A GMO (genetically modified organism) is a plant, animal, or microorganism that has had its genetic material (DNA) changed or modified using technology, including the transfer of specific DNA from one organism to another - bioengineered food FDA.

Our government encourages us to choose healthy, nutrient-dense food and beverages DGA. However, government sources also say "if the risks of GMOs on consumer safety and natural biodiversity is real, the world has to just face it and find a way out, as there is now no easy escape. Rather than worrying about the GMO food safety and environmental sustainability, the world should be worried by the increasing global population [and its] short food supply" NIH. Contrast this with Population Matters and Elon Musk citing the birth decline “one of the biggest risks to civilization,” and being a force behind the “more babies” pronatalist movement.

GMOs are used to make animal feed and auto fuel — not food for humans. When GMOs are in human food, they tend to show up as non-nutritious processed ingredients. GMO crops are not about feeding the world but about patented ownership of the food supply. After the Dow-Dupont and Bayer-Monsanto mergers, only three chemical companies now control about 60% of the world’s seed supply Non-GMO Project.

Who is feeding you?

Bottom line, learn to feed yourself goodness and put good things in your mouth because only you can make this choice good for you!

Start by reading grocery store labels to make sure you're buying ORGANIC and/or NON-GMO. If you want to go a step further, grow and make your own food. In our home, we grind our grains (Azure) for homemade breads, invest in raising chickens for eggs and meat, and will keep bees. If you don't have an outdoor space, chickens are the new urban pet and potted plants grow by windows.

Have an outdoor space?

Grow and harvest your own veggies, fruits and herbs with smart planting and keeping a laying chicken around for eggs (and snuggles). There are many fun ways to have food freedom in whatever space you are in. If you have access to, or can afford to purchase, outdoor space to plant a garden, grow fruit trees, or keep simple animals like ducks, chickens, pigs, bees, goats or sheep - do it! Not only is it rewarding to can garden veggies you grew or snuggle your goat after milking, but you are taking charge of the most important part of your life - feeding yourself without relying on others.

Take the first step! Care about what's in your mouth. Start by reading the labels at the grocery store to make good choices. Take an even bigger step by growing and raising your own food sources. Choose to consume goodness and see what happens. Your mirror will see the difference!

What Are You Drinking?

drinks

Water is vital to the body and facilitates maintenance of balance and tissue function NIH. Water serves the role of nutrient solvent, transportation carrier, maintaining body volume, and regulating body temperature EJCN

Alcohol

If your lifestyle is surrounded by drinking alcohol, that poorly impacts your body, your mind, and your health NIH. Alcohol, and the acetone produced by alcohol metabolism, promotes skin keratinocytes thereby enhancing skin permeability and damaging skin's barrier function. This affects the metabolism of triglycerides and cholesterol, and affects skin's lipid composition creating skin aging and disease EJN.

Choosing a lifestyle focused on low or no sugar drinks like herbal tea, water and club soda, helps restore your youth and honors your health. Alcohol bends your mind and dehydrates your body - reducing collagen & elastin production to accelerate aging. Be sober and switch to something good instead Prov. 20:1.

Keeping an eye on calories helps too! Read labels and consume good drinks in your mouth.

What Are You Taking?

Nutrient gaps in your daily health routine can be filled with vitamins and supplements 3 John 1:2The intake of vital nutrients initiates a positive transformation externally, while uplifting your inner essence.

A balanced and varied diet is the primary source of essential vitamins and minerals; however, nutrient deficiencies can occur NIHDietary supplements, like multivitamins and minerals, provide shortfall nutrients and have been shown to help fill nutrient gaps CRNTaking multivitamins, supplements and minerals increases nutrient intakes and helps you obtain the recommended amounts of vitamins and minerals when you do not meet your needs from food alone NIH

Silver nanoparticles

No scientific evidence has been found for positive health effects of internal use of colloidal silver products NIH. Until the discovery of penicillin, silver was commonly used as an antimicrobial agent JAR.

Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) have antibacterial activity and have anti-thrombogenic, anti-platelet, and anti-hypertensive properties. Today, AgNPs are increasingly used in clinical medicine, dentistry, cardiology, and dermatology. AgNPs in dentistry are used for implant treatment, orthodontics, endodontics, restorative, prosthetic, and periodontal treatment as well as anti-caries action and antitumor activity in the oral cavity MDPI. If you have silver fillings or use it for mouthwash to rinse and spit, you know how it works.

Cardiovascular implants with polymeric materials use AgNPs because of the antibacterial and anti-thrombogenic properties. Cardiac pacemakers with AgNPs treated surfaces can decrease the risk of infection BMJAgNPs are used to prevent and treat infections in acute wounds such as traumatic, surgical, and burn injuries, chronic wounds such as diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, venous leg ulcers, and even partial-thickness and full-thickness burns CID.

What Are You Speaking?

“Words are things; and a small drop of ink, falling like dew upon a thought, produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions, think." Lord Byron

Words can build up or tear down. When you feel good, when you feel loved, you SPEAK good. Speaking goodness nourishes your SPIRIT, just like food nourishes your body Luke 6:45. Our world view — our personal perspective of reality — colors all our decision making. We have the power to conform our minds to God's goodness. We can decide to speak words of goodness as our weapons to wage war against the forces of darkness and hopelessness that come at us in life.

Who You Are?

Heidi

We are comprised of body, soul, and SPIRIT 1 Thes. 5:23. Our BODY is the part that is subject to the physical frailties of injury, disease, and ultimately death. Our SOUL consists of our mind, will, and emotions — the arenas of thought, determination, and feelings 1 Cor. 2:13. Our SPIRIT represents the eternal part of our being, where the God factor works. The spirit world is hidden from our external eye-vision, but is nonetheless very real to our internal heart-vision.

People who have gained wisdom through life experience are not surprised by suffering and are neither speechless nor helpless when confronting tragedy. They understand the spiritual God factor. Unfortunately, those around you might expect you to just pull up your bootstraps and get on with life. After all, that's what they did! However, people who have experienced God can see past the mystery of a tragedy and can offer hope and comfort while identifying practical actions to take.

Speak good words or bitter words?

In the spiritual world, there is a tremendous battle of good vs. evil going on around you and in your SOUL because evil is trying to capture your SPIRIT. Its outcome will determine whether the truth of God and His goodness will reign in you, or the deception of evil will take you over. It's all about you!

Hatred towards God and His goodness is in constant conflict with our mind, will, and emotions, leaving us vulnerable to evil John 15:18-27. Sometimes we even hate ourselves! Evil's influence in our lives is often hidden, controlled through our soul — our mind, will, and emotions. Your SPIRIT can be imprisoned by the influence of darkness that your SOUL allows in. A SOUL fully yielded to God's goodness allows your SPIRIT to be free, which affects your body too! Your spirit's freedom will establish peace in all circumstances, and your face will show it. This is the ultimate of stress-free living.

Content in every circumstance?

Dissatisfaction, comparison, and competition are all “horizontally focused”; that is, what our eyes see in other people our minds want. In that place, we have not learned to see what God desires for us. Being “vertical focused” limits your desires to God’s will, plan, and even your means of provision. Our horizontal focus is corrupted by temporal and deceitful desires. When jealousy, insecurity, and shame steer us, we distrust God’s goodness  — “horizontally focused” we take matters into our own hands and seek something we think is better. But that's not living in God’s best for our lives.

Remember, you are NOT your thoughts Psych. Evil forces in the unseen spiritual world see you and monitor your activities. They know your weaknesses and set up circumstances to hurt you. Remember, they only want evil, not good, for you. Whereas, God wants goodness and peace for you John 10:10. You know it's evil forces pressing on you when your thoughts and emotions are agitated and not peaceful. These evil forces cause you to misperceive situations to the detriment of your relationships with others and develop wrong conclusions of others. Many incorrect beliefs and attitudes towards yourself and others have been learned through these evil set-ups, i.e. family circumstances, life and relationship experiences, and educational influences. All your thoughts can be traced back to beliefs based either on the truth of God's goodness or Satan’s evil lies. Through these wrong interpretation of life situations, we can end up dwelling in a place of SOUL torment and our SPIRIT cannot experience freedom or peace.

Left unchecked, spiraling thoughts can control, dictate, and influence our attitudes and speech. This then directs our behavior, oppresses and discourages us, and colors us evil in how we view or react to situations, circumstances, or people. As we entertain evil thoughts or participate in activities that are contrary to the goodness of God in our lives, we open ourselves up to torment instead of peace and stress-free living. When evil thoughts and activities become habitual, and we don't push them out of our minds as soon as they pop in, we allow an evil house to be built around us. It influences our behaviors and we become accustomed to responding to that bitter “voice” in our head.

Who's voice is it?

Don't allow your inner voice to be led by evil. When your SPIRIT is led by God, you are a child of God Rom. 8:14As soon as that "voice" pops into your head telling you lies like "you're not worth it" or "you are never going to make it" or "you should just give up," that is not God or His goodness Phil. 4:13. The battlefield exists in our mind, will, and emotions — our soul. It is here that we face the daily decision of living Spirit-controlled in peace, or soul-influenced in torment Rom. 8:5.

Choose to push evil thoughts out immediately and force your mind to think on goodness - you're favorite walk in the woods, a blue sunny sky, imagine what heaven looks like, think of God hugging you, and keep it up. Make a lifestyle habit to think on those things that are “true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent or praiseworthy” Phil. 4:8.

You are probably unaware that these thoughts and feelings are being whispered to you because the “voice” sounds just like your own internal voice. When confronted with opposition to our decisions or actions, we deny that we have a problem (argument) or rationalize that we have a right to the emotion or activity that we are pursuing (pretension). A decision to give in to a soul-influenced "voice" that is not your peaceful SPIRIT opens you up to a lifestyle of speaking bitter, angry words that perpetuate torment 1 Pet. 5:8. That's what evil wants, and it has you captive until you choose to consume and speak goodness then changing your circumstances.

Choose to break this habitual pattern to heed a familiar "voice" of negativity, bitterness, anger or any underlying voice that is not speaking goodness and happiness in your mind, your will, and emotions. Yes, we all get emotional sometimes but emotional mindsets usually don't end in good decisions NIH.

Our words are weapons in this daily struggle of good vs. evil. To choose goodness rather than succumb to temptation is indeed “mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds” 2 Cor. 10:4. Speaking words of goodness combats these instances of evil wreaking havoc in your life. Even when what's in front of you looks bad, speak good words of positivity and hope. Confess the end result of goodness over the situation before it even feels or looks good. Good words used in a defensive posture combats a habitual pattern of failure or hopelessness in your life. Don't get tossed around in a world swayed by trends. You are wonderfully made. Stand strong as a child of God and be who you were created to be. Ps. 139:14

Love yourself, as yourself. Gal. 5:14
